Elena and her foster mom's cat, Clyde, snuggle.

Adoptable Elena is here to remind you that senior dogs are a great addition to your family!

Why?

  • More mature gals like 8 yr old Elena can take some of the guesswork out of what it will be like to have them in the family.

  • Senior dogs are more of an open book...what you see is what you get: they aren't getting any bigger, and their personality is formed.

  • Elena is the right mix of active and snuggle bunny. Many seniors can still access their inner puppy while being able to relax with the family, too.

Millicent is a tiny princess who was living anything but the royal life before she was rescued.

We rely on the generosity of others to continue to do rescue. Please consider donating a Drs Foster and Smith gift certificate. Our supply orders can add up for such necessities as vaccinations and other medications.

Please consider donating a Thundershirt to Pet Adoption Services. This is a valuable tool that can make all the difference in the adoptability of our rescues who are recuperating from a trauma, adjusting to a change in environment, or those who have storm phobia. We are requesting donations of all sizes, but the most common sizes for the dogs that we get into rescue are S, M, L, and XL. To learn more about the Thundershirt, click on one of the links below. Thank You for your generosity!
