This is Foxy Girl. She was thrown from a truck and has a few trust issues. Given time , she begs for your lap and skritches. She is a Sheba Inu mix. She is about 13 pounds and little. She gets along with cats and small dogs. She seems to be OK with large dogs that dont overwhelm her. She appears housebroke but if she must be left for longer periods of time, she uses her peepad faithfully. She is crate trained....she doesn't like it but she does use it a a safe place to eat, sleep and take her treats. She is heartworm negative and healthy. Breed knowledge would definitely help so go read up on the Sheba Inu.

When she has an approved application, PAS will help with her transitioning to her new home. She just needs a patient hand and a week to decompress and she will be your friend for life.

Current on vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped. Current on heartworm preventative and flea preventative.

Our adoptions include a foster period of 4-6 weeks so that you can be sure that this pet is a good fit without any pressure, and we are available to answer any behavior or training questions during that time (and beyond, if you wish).

** Local adoptions (within Greater New Orleans area and surrounding parishes). We do not ship animals, as a part of our adoption process is for the potential adopter(s) to meet the dog to assess if he/she is a match for the family.
