During this season of gratitude, Crusoe is most THANKFUL he was rescued and has received continuous love and care.
He was just 5 months old when he was found abandoned. He was a bit under weight and let’s just say, what was coming out of him, wasn’t exactly food. He was eating what he could find to fill his tummy.
It’s hard to believe that this special guy is still taking applications, but we are convinced it’s because the perfect family has not yet come available.
Crusoe is now approx 11 months young. Super playful. Good with cats, dogs and children.
He loves to chomp on ice and “nurse” on his stuffed animal toys.
He knows some basic commands, including pottying on command (something he learned at 5 mths old in about 3 days)
He is working on walking right beside you during walks and is a quick learner.
I don’t think there is any denying how much more attractive your CHRISTMAS family photos will be with this gorgeous guy in it. Seriously! Have you noticed the natural eyeliner!!??
We love Crusoe and so will his people wherever they may be??

Adoption includes vetcheck, vaccinations, spay/neuter, and microchip. Current on heartworm preventative and flea preventative.
Our adoptions include a foster period of 4-6 weeks so that you can be sure that this pet is a good fit without any pressure, and we are available to answer any behavior or training questions during that time (and beyond, if you wish).
**
Local adoptions preferred (within Greater New Orleans area and surrounding parishes). We do not ship animals, as a part of our adoption process is for the potential adopter(s) to meet the dog to assess if he/she is a match for the family.
