Boomer's fosterparent says....
"He is a very good boy who loves playing fetch and chewing on appropriate toys. He has the quintessential "puppy energy" so long walks will be great for Boomer. He is kind boy who loves attention and belly rubs. Great dog!"

Boomer would do best either as on only dog with playdates or with another dog who is his size or larger and is not submissive. He takes correction well from appropriately assertive mature dogs.

Boomer is current on vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped. He is current on heartworm preventative and flea preventative. Boomer has tested negative for heartworms.

If you are interested, please fill out a  Dog Adoption Application

Our adoptions include a foster period of 4-6 weeks so that you can be sure that this pet is a good fit without any pressure, and we are available to answer any behavior or training questions during that time (and beyond, if you wish).

** Local adoptions preferred (within Greater New Orleans area and surrounding parishes). We do not ship animals, as a part of our adoption process is for the potential adopter(s) to meet the dog to assess if he/she is a match for the family.
