Meet Navy! This senior pup is the quintessential lap dog. He loves to go for car rides and hang out next to his person. Navy does prefer the adult version of human and would be a great choice for anyone looking for a small quiet canine companion who will give a small sweet kiss upon demand.

He is best suited for a quieter household where someone works from home or is in and out of the house throughout the day. Navy has done well in a home with dogs of similar size and energy level and would prefer a companion dog to keep him company when his human family is not nearby. Navy loves to get scratchies behind those fabulous bat ears. Navy asked us to convey that a small shoulder massage will not be frowned upon.

Current on vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped. Current on heartworm preventative and flea preventative.

If you are interested, please fill out a  Dog Adoption Application

Our adoptions include a foster period of 4-6 weeks so that you can be sure that this pet is a good fit without any pressure, and we are available to answer any behavior or training questions during that time (and beyond, if you wish).

** Local adoptions preferred (within Greater New Orleans area and surrounding parishes). We do not ship animals, as a part of our adoption process is for the potential adopter(s) to meet the dog to assess if he/she is a match for the family.
